Capital Governor, Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received in his office the US embassy Charge D’Affaires, Margaret Nardi.
He underlined deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA, commending the efforts to promote joint cooperation. He also reviewed development programmes implemented by the Capital Governorate to serve citizens.
The US embassy Charge D’Affaires praised strong ties between both countries, stressing the need to further bolster relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries.
Both sides also discussed issues of common interest.
