Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing royal care for the Ashura commemoration.
He expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the annual royal gift granted to the Husseinya Community Centres.
He lauded Team Bahrain’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to the success of the Ashura commemoration.
He praised directives of the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa to all security directives to follow up on the needs of community centres and Husseinya processions.
He also commended those in charge of community centres and Husseinya processions for their cooperation, noting that the success of the commemoration reflected religious liberties in Bahrain.
