Capital Governor highlights Ma’an programme’s achievements to US delegation

Capital Governor, Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Committee of Anti-violence and Addiction (Ma’an), received a delegation from the University of North Carolina headed by Dr. David Wyrick and comprising in its membership the Director of Curriculum and Training of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. America).

The meeting was held in the presence of the Anti-violence and Addiction Programme (Maan) Director Ali Ahmed Amini.

The Capital Governor reviewed with the delegation the achievements of “Ma’an” programme since its inception in 2011 to ensure a safe environment for the students at school.

Dr. David Wyrick thanked the Capital Governor and the officials in charge of the programme for giving him the opportunity to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and get informed about the programme’s accomplishments to protect the youth and students from the dangers of violence and addiction. He praised the programme’s achievements over the past years, stressing support to it.
