Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has organized a tour for local media, photographers and social media influencers to the Bahrain Beaches Festival at Bilaj Al Jazayer.

Guests were treated to a variety of events, including water sports conducted for the first time in Bahrain.

The tour participants were introduced to several various water sports offered by the festival, including surfing, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking.

BTEA provided the sporting activities in the framework of integrated services that feature training, equipment rental, tools rentals among other services.

Over the evening, visitors learned more about the services that the Bahrain Beaches Festival had to offer for its nighttime visitors, such as beach yoga sessions and the highly anticipated experience of paddling with LED lights from 7 to 10 p.m.

The media tour also included a part of the Bahrain Beaches Festival programme that featured live music performances, entertainment activities, children-related activities, food trucks and more.

“This media tour at the Bahrain Beaches Festival is a part of Bahrain Tourism Authority’s eagerness to promote the festival’s busy events schedule, within the context of the national press’ pivotal role as a key partner in introducing various tourism programs and events in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” Director of Marketing and Promotion at BTEA Maryam Torani said.

She highlighted the popularity of the Bahrain Beaches Festival among tourists, locals, and visitors as she emphasized that the fact that this event was a success during its inaugural run this year proved that BTEA was on the right track in its efforts to activate the potential of Bahraini beaches as a major tourist attraction in the Kingdom.
