Manama: Oil prices declined on Monday as Brent crude fell $1.68, or 2.09%, to $78.89 a barrel by 0633 GMT. Prices had previously climbed to $82.30, marking a significant drop in the market. According to Bahrain News Agency, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were trading at $76 a barrel, experiencing a decrease of 60 cents. This decline occurred ahead of the contract's expiry later on Monday, indicating a shift in market dynamics as traders adjusted their positions.
