Manama: The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) concluded the first cohort of its “National Paths” programme for general employees, held from April 12 to 16, with the participation of employees from the public and private sectors, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance national participation and develop human capital.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme featured a comprehensive package of specialised training courses and workshops focusing on the Royal vision for comprehensive development and its impact on national and institutional work, alongside strengthening participants’ skills and professional capabilities across both sectors.
The activities also aimed to equip participants with knowledge related to government priorities, current policies, and legislation, while enhancing their ability to engage positively with national developments and respond to regional and international challenges, contributing to the preparation of qualified national cadres and raising their cultural and intellectual awareness.
The programme included a series of specialised training sessions and workshops. Certified trainer Ashwaq Bu Ali delivered a course on “Building National Competencies”, while Shaikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, former Director of the Historical Studies Centre at the University of Bahrain, presented a workshop titled “Year of Isa Al Kabeer and Its National Impact”. Dr. Badr Adel, Associate Professor at the College of Law, University of Bahrain, delivered a workshop on “The Electoral System in the Kingdom of Bahrain”. Maram Al Bardoli, Advisor at the National Communication Centre, presented a course on “Political Analysis Skills and Future Foresight”, and Dr. Mohamed Al Sabba, a certified trainer, delivered a course on “Innovation in Designing National Initiatives”.
The programme forms part of the institute’s initiatives aimed at strengthening national awareness and institutional belonging and supporting the labour market with qualified national talent equipped with knowledge and skills, contributing positively to Bahrain’s comprehensive development.
