Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is set to host the latest edition of its Batelco Fitness on Track event on Tuesday, November 11. This event invites the public to engage in physical activity, either individually or with family and friends, within the iconic motorsport venue.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event will take place from 6 pm to 10 pm, allowing participants to enjoy the cool Sakhir temperatures under the bright floodlights of BIC. This unique setting at a world-renowned Formula One venue offers a choice between walking, running, or cycling, providing a versatile workout experience.
Participants will have access to different circuits based on their activity choice. Runners and walkers will use the 2.550-kilometre Inner Circuit, while cyclists will have the opportunity to pedal along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit. Additionally, there is a dedicated area for children's cycling, making the event family-friendly.
The fee for participating is set at BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners, with payment required upon booking. Children under 12 can join for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Regular attendees may benefit from the Batelco Fitness on Track Season Pass, priced at BD15, granting access to all events through April 2026. Passes are available through the BIC Hotline.
