Beyon Expands Regional Brand Presence with Launch of Umniah by Beyon

Amman: Beyon announced the launch of Umniah by Beyon in Jordan, marking a strategic move to unify its telecommunications brands under one identity and strengthen its position as a diversified global technology group. The launch event took place in Amman, attended by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Beyon Group, alongside royal family members, ministers, officials, and diplomats, celebrating 20 years of Beyon's successful investments in Jordan.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa described this launch as a major milestone in Beyon's strategy to build a unified brand reflecting its innovation leadership and regional and global expansion. He announced strategic investments of approximately JOD 300 million through Umniah over five years to support Jordan's telecommunications sector and digital transformation. He affirmed the group's commitment to sustainable growth, regional cooperation, innovation, and partnership, highlighting Beyon's continued evolution as a Bahrain-rooted global technology group.

Andrew Kvalseth, CEO of Beyon Group, noted that unifying the corporate identity enhances operational efficiency, consistency among subsidiaries, and contributes to sustainable value and capital efficiency aligned with the group's long-term growth strategy. Under the new identity, Umniah will implement strategic projects including building an advanced data centre, expanding 5G networks, introducing Wi-Fi 7 technology, and extending fibre networks in Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, with focus on Wadi Araba, boosting Jordan's digital transformation efforts.
