House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday called for a meeting of the Parliament bureau body on Friday, December 3, at 1.00 a.m., at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh.
Speaker Berri also called on the parliamentary committees of Finance, Budget, Administration and Justice to hold a joint session at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 6, at the Parliament, in order to study an expedited law proposal aimed at setting exceptional and temporary controls on bank transfers.
On the other hand, Speaker Berri received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Ian Collard, with whom he discussed the current general situation and the bilateral relations between the two countries.
