BENEFIT and ATME Confirm Sponsorship for Fintech Forward 2025

Manama: BENEFIT Company (BENEFIT), a leading innovator in financial technology and electronic financial transaction services in Bahrain, has announced its participation as a gold sponsor in the upcoming Fintech Forward 2025 (FF25). Additionally, ATME, a digital assets exchange licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), will join as a silver sponsor.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the third edition of FinTech Forward will be held on October 8 - 9 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) and is hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). This year's forum aims to serve as a platform for showcasing innovation, fostering collaboration, and exploring new opportunities in both regional and global fintech landscapes.

BENEFIT's role as a gold sponsor underscores its leadership in Bahrain's digital economy. The company has been instrumental in modernizing the Kingdom's payments infrastructure, promoting financial inclusion, and introducing secure and accessible transaction solutions. BENEFIT has pioneered initiatives like Bahrain's National Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFTS) and open banking services. In the first half of 2025, BENEFIT reported a total volume of about 242.7 million transactions, valued at BHD 18.2 billion, marking an 11% increase from the previous year.

ATME, serving as a silver sponsor, is recognized for spearheading digital asset development in Bahrain. The company launched the Kingdom's first tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) with gold-backed tokens. Officially launched at FinTech Forward 2024, ATME aims to democratize access to previously illiquid assets and create new financing avenues by simplifying the capital-raising process.

Bahrain's financial services sector remains a vital component of its diversified economy and is the largest contributor to GDP. The sector benefits from an agile regulatory environment and a fintech-ready ecosystem that supports growth and innovation. FinTech Forward 2025 is set to strengthen this foundation by bringing together fintech experts, financial firms, governments, and regulators globally to discuss the future of financial innovation, policy, and infrastructure.
