Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the inauguration ceremony of two production lines at the Professional Maintenance, Training and Manufacturing Development Corporation took place today. The event coincided with the 58th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and was attended by Major General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Manpower.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Director of the Military Manufacturing Development Corporation expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King for his patronage and acknowledged the ongoing support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. Additionally, appreciation was extended to Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, for his role in overseeing the development and modernization efforts, and to His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, for his support.
The ceremony included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by the Assistant Chief of Staff for Manpower, marking the inauguration of the new production lines. Attendees were given a tour of the facilities, where they reviewed the manufacturing and production processes and received a briefing on the advanced technologies employed for inspection, maintenance, and development.
The Assistant Chief of Staff for Manpower praised the high level of performance exhibited by the personnel at the Corporation and acknowledged the dedication of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel in serving the Kingdom.
