Manama: The 30th meeting of Air Force and Air Defence Commanders of the Armed Forces of the GCC states concluded today, Wednesday, after being hosted by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), represented by the Royal Bahraini Air Force.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by the GCC Air Force and Air Defence Commanders, Major General Salman bin Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Assistant Secretary General for Military Affairs at the GCC Secretariat, and Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi, Commander of the Unified Military Command of the GCC states.
The discussions during the meeting focused on joint GCC military cooperation in the fields of air forces and air defence. The commanders emphasized the importance of developing these capabilities and further enhancing their systems to effectively address various challenges.
