BDF Holds “National Shield 2026” Drill

Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) held the "National Shield 2026" drill, which will be held from January 26 - 28, with the participation of the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior across multiple governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The exercise includes field training and operational applications designed to enhance leadership skills, strengthen coordination with relevant authorities, improve participant efficiency, and develop combat and administrative readiness while enhancing the defence capabilities of the participating forces.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the drill aims to improve coordination among the military and security entities in Bahrain. The exercise is set to enhance the operational capabilities of the forces involved, focusing on both combat and administrative readiness. The participating entities will engage in various training scenarios to test and improve their response strategies and management skills.
