Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 114 ballistic missiles and 190 drones since the beginning of Iranian hostilities targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command attributes this success to the vigilance and operational effectiveness of its personnel. The command expressed pride in the combat readiness and vigilance of the BDF, assuring citizens that the Kingdom’s skies remain secure.
The General Command has urged the public to exercise caution in affected areas. Citizens and residents are advised to avoid suspicious objects, not to film military operations, and to rely on official channels for accurate information.
Furthermore, the General Command highlighted that targeting civilian areas with ballistic missiles and drones violates international humanitarian law and threatens regional peace and security.
