Manama: The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) announced its bronze sponsorship of the Third Asian Youth Games (AYG), which will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 22-31, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The sponsorship agreement was signed by Yusuf Duaij, Chairman of the Executive Committee for the AYG, and Abdulrahman Danish, Senior Corporate Communications Officer at BBK.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Duaij thanked BBK for its important contribution and bronze sponsorship, calling it a major boost to their efforts. He emphasised that BBK, as a leading financial institution, shows strong corporate responsibility and a firm commitment to supporting major sporting events that raise Bahrain's profile on regional, continental, and global levels.
Danish expressed pride in BBK's bronze sponsorship of the third AYG, highlighting it as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting sports and youth activities in Bahrain. He noted that the AYG offers a valuable chance to showcase the nation's cultural and organisational strengths, and that BBK's involvement reflects its belief in the importance of investing in youth to help build a strong and competitive sports generation.
