Manama: Bapco Tazweed, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies and a key player in transforming Bahrain's energy sector, has successfully enhanced the career progression and professional development of 141 Bahraini employees. This initiative is supported through various programs offered by Tamkeen, the Labour Fund.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this strategic move is in line with Bapco Tazweed's commitment to increasing employee productivity and creating advancement opportunities. The company leverages Tamkeen's programs designed to foster professional growth, empower employees to enhance their skills, and encourage enterprises to recognize and reward top-performing employees.

The initiative aligns with Tamkeen's 2025 strategic priorities, which include enhancing the competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping them with suitable skills for career development, and focusing on enterprise growth, digitization, and sustainability. It also supports the development of the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and the private sector.

Additionally, this support bolsters the oil and gas sector in Bahrain, which is the second-largest contributor to the country's GDP, accounting for 15.2% as per data from the first quarter of this year.
