Manama:Bahrain continued its participation in the Asian Games, competing in shooting and kurash events. The Kingdom's shooters took part in the qualifying rounds, while Rasoul Magomedov concluded his kurash campaign following a defeat to Mongolia's Ulziibayar Duurenbayar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in the men's individual trap competition, Saeed Hassan Saleh Ali completed the first day of qualifying in 20th place with a score of 45 points.
In the women's individual trap competition, Marwa Ahmed finished 17th with 42 points. Her teammate Maryam Fadhel placed 20th, also scoring 42 points at the end of the first day of qualifying.
Rasoul Magomedov competed in the men's over-90kg kurash competition. However, he was defeated by Mongolia's Ulziibayar Duurenbayar, ending his participation in the event at the Asian Games.
