Kuala Lumpur:Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) and Vice President of the F©d©ration Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for the Middle East and North Africa, participated via video conference in a meeting with race organising team heads. The meeting was part of preparations for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, set to take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from October 2 to 4.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa commended the efforts of the BMF team in organizing the race and welcomed the heads and members of the organising teams. He expressed pride in the contributions of Bahrain's youth, highlighting their role in representing the Kingdom and showcasing national talent at international sporting events.
Shaikh Abdulla affirmed the BMF's commitment to supporting the teams and organisers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and conditions to perform their duties effectively. He extended his wishes for success to all team members in their organisational mission, aiming to achieve results that showcase the high level of Bahraini professionalism in managing international sporting events.
Abdulaziz Al Thawadi, General Manager of the BMF and head of the Bahraini delegation, chaired the meeting. He praised the support and attention provided by Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa, noting the strong motivation it offers to all team members. Al Thawadi emphasized the BMF's dedication to maintaining high preparedness for the major international event.
During the meeting, Al Thawadi reviewed the preparedness of the organising teams, stating that all BMF team members are now in place and ready to fulfill their responsibilities during the race. Several heads of the organising teams also presented their preparations and operational plans, discussing the latest organisational arrangements and coordination efforts to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
