Bahrain’s National Day Celebrations Shine at Expo 2025 Osaka

Osaka: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Day celebrations at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, held under his patronage.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of the World Expo as a platform for enhancing global cooperation, promoting sustainable innovation, and advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

His Royal Highness affirmed Bahrain's commitment to participating in international exhibitions, recognizing them as vital to showcasing the Kingdom's achievements and reinforcing its global standing. This aligns with Bahrain's comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. During the celebrations, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister enjoyed heritage performances, cultural shows, and artistic displays, highlighting Bahrain's rich history and heritage.

His Royal Highness noted that celebrating National Day at Expo 2025 reflects Bahrain's openness and commitment to peace, cooperation, and partnership. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad toured the Bahrain Pavilion, which serves as a platform for showcasing the nation's heritage and achievements, while enhancing cultural and economic exchange with participating countries.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed Bahrain's commitment to promoting its economic assets in support of sustainable goals. He extended gratitude to the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and pavilion organizers for creating an immersive experience that reflects Bahrain's culture and progress. HRH expressed pride in Bahrain's national workforce, whose achievements enhance the Kingdom's international presence.

In a speech, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed, President of BACA and Commissioner General of the Bahrain Pavilion, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad and HRH Prince Salman on the National Day celebration. He highlighted the significance of showcasing Bahrain's identity and values, which position the Kingdom as a bridge between civilizations and a hub for trade, science, and culture.

HE Koga Yoichiro, representing the Government of Japan, congratulated Bahrain on its National Day and emphasized the enduring partnership between the two countries. HE Yoichiro appreciated Bahrain's participation in Expo 2025 and wished HRH Prince Salman success during his visit.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also visited the Japanese Pavilion, where he was briefed on displays showcasing Japan's cultural heritage and technological progress. His Royal Highness commended Japan's advancements and success in hosting the Expo. HRH Prince Salman was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and several senior officials.
