Bahrain’s Leadership Engages in Key Diplomatic and Domestic Initiatives.

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was actively involved in several diplomatic engagements, receiving the Manager of Córdoba, a delegation of Russian businesswomen, and expressions of gratitude from the Turkish and Egyptian Presidents. Additionally, HM King congratulated the Interior Minister for undisclosed achievements. According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting and held discussions with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council. HRH was also thanked by the President of Trkiye for his efforts. Meanwhile, the Interior Minister visited the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in the UK, and the Foreign Minister participated in a ministerial conference in Cairo focused on enhancing the humanitarian response in Gaza. The Industry Minister attended the Partnership Summit 2024 in Ne w Delhi, while the Environment Minister took part in the COP16 desertification conference in Riyadh. The Royal Court Minister received the 21st annual audit report, and the Tourism Minister inaugurated the Time Out Market Bahrain, a new culinary destination. The Bahrain Defence Force is set to host the first GCC Military Shooting Championship, and the Prime Minister's Office celebrated the graduation of the ninth intake of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Program. The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence marked a milestone with the graduation of its first batch of peaceful coexistence diploma graduates. In the business sector, BIBF, in partnership with Tamkeen, launched CIPS training programmes. Tamkeen also supported Trafco Group's expansion and facilitated wage increases for over 30 Bahraini employees. The UAE Embassy in Bahrain celebrated its 53rd National Day, and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority conducted 1,547 inspection campaigns and visits.
