Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted key events, including national exercises, diplomatic engagements, and legislative meetings, that took place over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa attended the conclusion of the national virtual exercise "Azm Al Watan 1." In addition, His Majesty issued Decree (74) of 2025 and extended Christmas greetings to world leaders. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also conveyed Christmas congratulations to world leaders. The collaboration between the executive and legislative authorities continued as they held joint meetings focused on proposed initiatives to improve financial development in Bahrain. The nation also expressed its condemnation of a terrorist attack on a police patrol in Pakistan. On the diplomatic front, the Southern Governor hosted the Saudi Ambassador, while the Foreign Minister met with the Palestinian Ambassador to the United Kingdom. The Information Minister had discussions with both the Ambassador of Sri Lanka and the Editor-in-Chief of Al Bilad. Additionally, the Labour Ministry conducted its 40th ceremony to honor outstanding private sector workers under the patronage of His Majesty the King. Meanwhile, a Bahraini parliamentary delegation took part in the Executive Council meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Doha.
