Bahrain’s Leadership Engages in Diplomatic Activities and Celebrations

Manama: The Bahraini leadership has been actively engaged in a series of diplomatic meetings and celebrations, highlighting the country's strategic international relations and local cultural heritage. Among the key events, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (104) of 2024 and received the Chief of the Pakistan Navy. Additionally, both His Majesty and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended congratulations to the President of Kenya. According to Bahrain News Agency, several officials, including members of the royal family and ministers, conveyed their congratulations to the King and the Crown Prince Prime Minister on various occasions. These include congratulatory messages from HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the Information and Industry Ministers, among others. The Bahraini Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief also met with the Chief of the Pakistan Navy, emphasizing military cooperation. In another development, the Southern Governor participated in the Bahraini Ardha celebration, underscoring the government's commitment to preserving cultural traditions. On the diplomatic front, the Foreign Minister engaged in discussions with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region and received delegations from Oman and the United States. The Defence Minister also hosted a delegation from the Oman National Defence College. Furthermore, the Information Minister announced the launch of the Celebrate Bahrain festival, aiming to foster national pride and cultural awareness. Meanwhile, the Municipalities Ministry took a step towards environmental sustainability by planting 2,000 mangrove saplings in western Aker. In the realm of social development, the Social Development Minister inaugurated the Mubarak Jassim Kanoo Centre, while the Industry Ministry initiated the first phase of a commercial payment regulation, reflecting economic progression. In addition, the Youth Minister chaired a meeting of the Youth Empowerment Committee, highlighting the focus on empowering the younger generation. Bahrain also participated in international forums, with the Shura Council Chairman commending the council's global digital ranking and the NHRA CEO receiving honors at the Sheikh Zayed Award for Complementary Medicine. Finally, the UPDA and UN Habitat organized a workshop on sustainable urban renewal, aligning with global sustainability goals.
