Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King extended congratulations to the Governor-General of New Zealand, highlighting the strengthening of international relations. His Majesty also marked a significant domestic milestone by visiting a Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) facility in celebration of its 57th anniversary. This event was further acknowledged by congratulations from royal family members, officials, and ministers.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also sent his congratulations to the Governor-General of New Zealand, underscoring Bahrain's commitment to fostering global diplomatic relations. In addition, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued edict (5) of 2025 and received congratulations from the royal family and government officials on the BDF's anniversary.
In another development, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad issued edict (12) of 2025. Additionally, Tamkeen, in collaboration with Skills Bahrain, launched a report focused on the skills needs of the accountancy sector, aiming to enhance the sector's capabilities and workforce development.
