Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. HM King in remarks to the media emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a trust borne by all its citizens. In recognition of Labour Day, HM King was congratulated by the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the importance of HM the King’s directives and received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain. In addition, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was congratulated by the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation.
The General Sports Authority (GSA) and the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) signed a naming rights sponsorship agreement for Khalifa Sports City. Furthermore, the GSA also signed an agreement with Bin Hejres Real Estate Development and Investment to implement the “Malaeb Al Fareej” initiative.
In other official engagements, the Deputy Prime Minister received the Vice Chancellor of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and the Commander-in-Chief met with the Finance Minister. The Speaker of the Council expressed full support for the remarks delivered by HM King, emphasizing Bahrain’s commitment to a productive work environment and quality employment opportunities.
The Shura Chairman highlighted Bahrain’s progress in labour development, while the Foreign Minister held a phone call with the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister. In the realm of transportation, the Minister highlighted advancements in Bahrain’s aviation and logistics sectors. The Health Minister received the US Ambassador, and the Electricity Minister met with the UK Ambassador.
