Manama: The Court of the Crown Prince has announced that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain will lead the nation's delegation at the ASEAN-GCC Summit and the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has arrived in Malaysia to participate in the second ASEAN-GCC Summit. During his visit, he has engaged in a series of meetings with key leaders, including the King of Malaysia and the Prime Ministers of Thailand, Singapore, and Cambodia. These discussions reflect Bahrain's commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and regional cooperation.
In other notable engagements, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman held a meeting with J.P. Morgan's MENA Region Chief Executive and chaired the REHC High Committee Meeting. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated the Alnakheel Premium in Sama Bay, marking a significant development in Bahrain's infrastructure.
The Deputy Prime Minister presided over the weekly Cabinet Meeting, and the Interior Minister met with the Emirati ECSSR Vice Chairman, highlighting ongoing collaborations between Bahrain and the UAE. Additionally, the Royal Court Minister led the NIHR selection committee meeting, focusing on human rights initiatives.
The Oil Minister participated in the 18th CEDARE meeting, while the Minister of Sustainable Development and the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board engaged with ambassadors from Malaysia and Spain to discuss bilateral cooperation. Youth Affairs initiatives were also spotlighted as the Youth Minister emphasized innovation through the Al Mustashar LIVE platform and discussed cooperation with the Saudi Ambassador.
In the realm of foreign affairs, the Undersecretary participated in the Madrid Group meeting, focusing on the two-state solution. The National Guard Staff Director met with the UAE National Guard Commander, reinforcing defense ties. Furthermore, the Shura Council and the Supreme Council for Women signed an agreement to enhance women's roles in development.
The iGA Chief Executive attended the 27th GCC eGovernment Executive Committee meeting, and a forum in Manama underscored UAE-Bahrain cooperation on circular economy practices.
