Manama: The Bahrain Basketball Association has entered into a partnership agreement with Capelli Sport, a US-based global sportswear and equipment manufacturer, to supply official kits and approved gear for all national basketball teams across different age groups over the next three years.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the signing ceremony was attended by Alaa Mudara, President of the Bahrain Basketball Association, and Charbel Bou Raad, President of Capelli Sport Asia. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering basketball development in Bahrain.
Mudara stated that the agreement is in line with the association's strategy to equip national teams with quality gear, marking another step towards achieving sporting excellence. Bou Raad highlighted that the collaboration not only strengthens Capelli's presence in the Gulf region but also demonstrates mutual trust between the parties. He reaffirmed Capelli's dedication to providing high-quality products that enhance the performance of Bahrain's national teams.
The partnership is anticipated to give Bahrain's national teams a new look in upcoming competitions, aligning with the association's objective of presenting a professional image for Bahraini basketball on regional and international stages.
The signing event also saw the presence of Mohammed AbdulSamad, the association's Treasurer, and Robert Bou Dagher, Capelli Sport's Sales Director.
