Bahraini Youth Ambassadors Participate in WYF Assembly 2025

Nizhny novgorod: Two members of the Bahraini Youth Ambassadors Programme, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Dr. Walaa Hassan and Rabab Khalaf, participated in the World Youth Festival Assembly 2025 held in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The assembly brought together over 2,000 young people from Russia and 120 countries worldwide.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this participation is part of the Ministry of Youth Affairs' strategy to enable programme ambassadors to gain high-level international experiences. The aim is to showcase the positive image of Bahraini youth and open avenues for exchanging ideas and expertise with peers from around the world.

The festival was organized under the theme "In Russia" and featured seven main tracks, including media, creative industries and arts, public administration, entrepreneurship, education and science, sports, and digitalisation. The first day of the festival included more than 80 events, with participation from 200 Russian speakers and around 60 experts from 39 countries.

Contemporary topics such as artificial intelligence, financial literacy, and digital entrepreneurship were addressed, alongside intensive training programs in new media and content production. Participants also engaged in cultural, artistic, and sports experiences, reflecting the festival's spirit of diversity and openness.

The festival concluded with field visits for 200 participants across ten Russian regions, providing insight into the country's cultural and economic diversity. The event served as a global platform for youth engagement, fostering shared visions for a better future.
