Bahraini Women Celebrated for Strong Role in National Media

Manama: Bahraini women have been acknowledged for their significant presence and contributions in the national media, as stated by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information. The annual celebration of Bahraini Women's Day on December 1 underscores the esteemed position achieved by Bahraini women, backed by the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Their role as active partners in the country's development has been firmly established through various achievements.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Information Minister praised the remarkable accomplishments of Bahraini women, particularly within the government sector. These achievements reflect the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which aim to support national talents within Team Bahrain. Government initiatives have played a crucial role in enhancing women's skills and promoting their active presence across different workplaces, thereby contributing to the Kingdom of Bahrain's progress.

Dr. Al Noaimi also expressed appreciation for the significant contributions of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women. Under her leadership, the SCW has introduced initiatives and programmes that have furthered women's participation and solidified their role as essential partners in the nation's advancement.

He further highlighted that this year's theme, "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation," embodies women's demonstrated skills and accomplishments across various fields, including media. Bahraini women have enhanced their presence in the media sector, making impactful contributions and playing a crucial role in shaping a modern national media narrative. Dr. Al Noaimi reiterated the ongoing commitment to support Bahraini women in enhancing their role and participation in the Kingdom's continuous development and progress.
