Tashkent: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary General of the Council of Representatives, and Kameera Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, visited the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, joining fellow parliamentary secretaries general as part of the Association of Secretaries General of National Parliaments (ASGNP) meetings, held alongside the 150th IPU Assembly in Uzbekistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during their visit, the delegation toured various departments of the Uzbek Parliament, reviewed administrative systems and procedures, and visited the main session hall and parliamentary library. The two secretaries general emphasized their commitment to enhancing cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Uzbek Parliament and exchanging experiences to improve support services for members and advance administrative performance.
They also highlighted the commitment of Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, to strengthening Bahraini-Uzbek parliamentary ties and enhancing cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
