Bahraini Newspapers Highlight Recent Local Developments


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today turned their focus towards recent local events that occurred over the past 24 hours.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King of Bahrain received a call from His Majesty King of Spain. The conversation between the two monarchs comes amidst heightened regional tensions.



The Foreign Minister of Bahrain has also been active, receiving calls from several international counterparts. These discussions are believed to be part of ongoing diplomatic efforts in response to the recent developments in the region.



The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command announced that its air defence systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 92 missiles and 151 drones since the onset of Iranian aggression. This defensive action underscores the heightened security measures taken to protect the nation.



In another development, the Public Prosecution of Bahrain has issued a warning against sharing images of Iranian attacks and their aftermath. The public is urged to comply with official instructions to maintain security and order.



Furthermore, the Permanent Representatives of GCC member states to the United Nations in New York held a meeting with the UN Secretary-General. This meeting was a direct response to the Iranian aggression against GCC states, highlighting the regional diplomatic efforts in addressing the situation.
