Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King visited the majlises of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa, and the BDF Commander. Additionally, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued Edicts (18) and (19) of 2025. The Commander-in-Chief inspected a BDF unit to review its readiness, while the National Guard Commander attended Pakistan Day celebrations in Islamabad.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Interior Minister both received the President of the Arab Tourism Organisation. Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister participated in an Arab-Islamic Committee meeting with the EU High Representative, and the Municipalities Minister and the US Ambassador joined a tree planting initiative.
The Housing Ministry launched a tender for 128 flats in the Umm Al Hassam project and participated in the Earth Hour event. The Tourism Minister was awarded by the Arab Tourism Organisation. The Industry Ministry announced the final review of anti-dumping duties on cement imports, as well as on ceramic tile imports from China and India.
The Transportation Minister held meetings with the Saudi, German, and Cypriot Ambassadors. Lastly, the finance committee briefed MPs on the state budget in the presence of the Speaker.
