Bahraini Landmarks Illuminate in Omani Flag Colors for Oman’s National Day


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. Bahraini landmarks and buildings were lit in the colors of the Omani flag to celebrate Oman’s National Day. This gesture signifies the strong ties and mutual respect between Bahrain and Oman, highlighting their long-standing relationship.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the lighting of the landmarks forms part of the broader celebrations and diplomatic engagements taking place in Bahrain. The day’s events included HM King receiving senior royals, top officials, citizens, and sports achievers. Additionally, HM King sent a written letter to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and congratulated the Sultan of Oman. Similarly, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended congratulations to the Sultan of Oman.



Other notable events included meetings between Bahraini officials and international counterparts. The Interior Minister attended the Royal Police Academy graduation ceremony and met with a NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation. The Foreign Minister engaged in discussions with the Kuwaiti counterpart and received the new Qatari Ambassador’s credentials. Meanwhile, the Finance Minister inaugurated the new headquarters of ARRAY Innovation, and the Youth Minister introduced the “Gold Meter” digital service to highlight Bahraini youth achievements.



Bahrain also announced the upcoming Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara’ee 2025), which will be held under HM the King’s patronage, further showcasing Bahrain’s commitment to agricultural development and innovation.
