(BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, today held a remote meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Paola Amadei.
Works Affairs Undersecretary, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, and Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering, Ibrahim Hassan Al-Hawaj, participated in the virtual meeting.
The minister reviewed the distinguished steadily-growing Bahraini-Italian relations, wishing the envoy every success in carrying out her diplomatic duties.
He discussed with the ambassador areas of bilateral cooperation, lauding Italy’s advanced expertise in various fields, and expressing the Works Ministry’s keenness to avail of the Italian companies’ experience in the infrastructure fields, including roads, sanitation, construction and green buildings, in addition to agriculture.
The envoy expressed delight over the steady growth of her country’s relations across various cooperation fields, lauding the Works Ministry’s efforts to develop the kingdom’s infrastructure, and praising the progress currently witnessed by the kingdom in all fields.
