The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, met here the Head of International Relations in the Fratelli d’Italia Party and Member of the European Parliament, MP Carlo Fidanza, and the Party’s Head of the General Secretariat at the Senate, Giangiacomo Calovini.
During the meeting, the Ambassador reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them in the future, noting the economic development taking place in the country and the importance of investing in this development in the interest of the two countries.
He referred to the historical and current cooperation that culminated into the establishment of the Bahraini Italian Business Council under the auspices of the ministries of foreign affairs of both countries as constituting a basis for future cooperation.
He also noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries to enhance security and stability in the Gulf region, which constitutes a fundamental pillar in achieving the aspirations of the two friendly countries to increase investments, encourage tourism, and increase the volume of bilateral trade exchange.
