The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri met with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of Belgium, Eliane Tillieux in Brussels.
The Ambassador reviewed the democratic and reform process in the Kingdom of Bahrain led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed participation of women in the democratic process and their appointment in many important leadership positions in the country. He also pointed out their participation in the private sector and civil society. He highlighted the economic recovery plan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which paved the way for more cooperation in the economic, commercial and investment fields between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Belgium.
Eliane Tillieux hailed the development of bilateral and parliamentary relations between the two countries, expressing keenness on further boosting them for the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
