London: Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, attended a reception in London alongside Dr. Christian Turner, Political Director at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The event, hosted by former British ambassador Nicholas Hopton of the Middle East Association, gathered UK and Arab ambassadors, senior officials, and Members of Parliament.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Nicholas Hopton highlighted the importance of UK-Arab cooperation and the role of the Middle East Association in enhancing diplomatic ties. Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed praised the association's efforts in advancing UK-Arab relations and fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors. He emphasized the strong UK-Arab ties that support regional stability and shared interests.
Dr. Turner reiterated the UK's commitment to strengthening relations with Arab countries, stressing the importance of ongoing dialogue and cooperation amidst regional challenges.
