Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the signing of a peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda, brokered in Washington. The agreement is seen as a significant step towards resolving conflict and fostering stability, peace, and sustainable prosperity in the Great Lakes region and across Africa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the United States, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, in facilitating this agreement. The mediation efforts by the State of Qatar were also acknowledged. Bahrain reiterated its support for regional and international initiatives aimed at ending wars and resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, with the goal of strengthening international peace and security.
