Bahrain Triathlon Team Confident Ahead of 3rd Asian Youth Games

Manama: Sara John, Manager of the Bahrain Triathlon National Team, expressed confidence in the team's ability to achieve strong results at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, noting that preparations were conducted under a comprehensive training plan to ensure the athletes' readiness for this major continental event.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the team includes Albara Al Rumaihi, Adel Al Malki, and Omar Yasser, along with athletes Lulwa Al Doseri and Sofia Al Oraibi. The team recently completed an intensive two-week training camp in Al Baha, Saudi Arabia, under the supervision of coach Mubarak Mohammed.

John explained that the Bahrain Triathlon Association provided all necessary conditions for successful preparation, with morning and evening training sessions focused on enhancing technical and physical performance to ensure full readiness.

She added that the team continued its daily training after returning from the camp as part of the final stage of preparation, expressing confidence in the athletes' ability to deliver strong performances following their intensive training at home and abroad.

The Bahrain national team will begin its participation in the Super Sprint race on October 23, followed by the mixed relay race on October 25, aiming to represent the Kingdom honourably and add a new achievement to Bahrain's triathlon record.
