Bahrain to Host First Veterinary Medicine Forum and Exhibition in September

Manama: The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture will organise the first Bahrain Veterinary Medicine Forum and Exhibition from September 25-26, in cooperation with Checklist Events, Trade and Advisories. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, announced that the forum and exhibition will serve as a scientific and cultural platform, bringing together veterinarians, researchers, experts, government representatives, veterinary industries, livestock producers, hospitals, clinics, and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). The event aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise from Bahrain, the GCC, and worldwide, focusing on the latest practices and innovations in veterinary medicine.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the forum will spotlight scientific and technical developments in veterinary medicine. It will provide solutions to health and environmental challenges that strengthen animal wealth through research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The minister highlighted that the event represents an opportunity to expand partnerships with local and international research institutions and support animal vaccination and disease prevention programmes. This initiative is expected to enhance Bahrain's role as a regional hub for veterinary and scientific investment while supporting the goals of sustainable development.

The forum will connect government and private institutions, highlighting national, GCC, and international expertise, and showcasing veterinary knowledge and professional skills. An accompanying exhibition will feature veterinary companies, factories, hospitals, clinics, and pet centres, presenting the latest technologies, services, and products. This will open prospects for investment and broader partnerships in the veterinary sector.
