Manama: Shaikha Hayat bit Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, recently welcomed Bart Vermoesen, Event Director at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), to Bahrain. The visit was part of the preparations for the upcoming ITTF World Youth Championships, scheduled to take place from November 21 to 28.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Vermoesen conducted a thorough assessment of Bahrain's readiness to host the event. His visit included a tour of the Association's hall, which will serve as the venue for all matches, as well as inspections of the proposed hotels for the participating delegations. Additionally, a meeting was held to review the organisational and logistical arrangements necessary for the successful execution of the championship.
