Bahrain Supports Ceasefire Agreement in Lebanon Mediated by US and France.

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in the Lebanese Republic, reached through constructive diplomatic mediation by the United States of America and the French Republic, considering it a pivotal step towards de-escalation and reducing regional military tension, preserving the lives of innocent civilians, returning displaced persons, and facilitating the delivery of necessary humanitarian and relief aid to alleviate their suffering. According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bahrain stressed the need for full commitment to an immediate, comprehensive, and permanent ceasefire by all parties and the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and relevant international resolutions. It reiterated its unequivocal position calling for dialogue and peaceful means in order to achieve a just, comprehensive, and permanent peace in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and resolving the Palestinia n issue on the basis of the two-state solution, in accordance with the rules of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, in a manner that preserves the security and stability of the region and the safety of all its peoples.
