Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Bahrain Islamic Index both closed lower as trading activities showed a downward trend. The All Share Index recorded a decrease of 7.26 points, closing at 1,959.77 points. This decline was primarily attributed to reductions in the financials and materials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a drop, closing at 906.48 points, which is a decrease of 9.79 points from its previous close. The trading session saw 84 equity transactions with a total volume of 379,589 and a value amounting to BD 157,380.
Investors focused significantly on the financials sector, which constituted 67.16% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
