Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,949.46 points, marking a decrease of 2.07 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the downturn in the communication services sector and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, on the other hand, closed at 852.36 points, reflecting an increase of 1.48 points above its previous closing. The trading session saw 64 equity transactions with a traded volume of 743,427, totaling BD 276,020 in value.
Investors predominantly focused on the financial sector, which accounted for 54.02% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
