Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,929.48 points, marking an increase of 3.41 points above the previous closing. This upward movement was primarily driven by a rise in the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an increase, closing at 881.57 points, up by 9.22 points from its previous closing. The trading session witnessed 141 equity transactions, with a trading volume of 1,731,023 shares worth BD 429,863.
Investors showed a preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 58.55% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
