Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,950.69 points, marking a decrease of 23.60 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to a downturn in several key sectors including communications services, financials, materials, and real estate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 942.82 points, which is 25.39 points below its previous closing. The trading session witnessed 392 equity transactions with a total volume of 4,358,577 shares, amounting to a value of BD 1,241,576.
The financials sector remained the focal point for investors, comprising 68.19% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
