Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,936.37 points, marking an increase of 1.72 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector, and the consumer staples sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced growth, closing at 871.28 points, which is an increase of 2.88 points above the previous closing. The results showed that 77 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,651,195, amounting to BD 748,626.
Investors showed a significant preference for the communication services sector, which represented 47.42% of the total value of securities traded.
