Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,929.48 points, marking an increase of 3.91 points above the previous closing. This upward movement was driven by gains in the consumer discretionary, financials, and materials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an increase, closing at 917.20 points, which is 3.32 points higher than the previous closing. The trading session included 88 equity transactions with a volume of 1,510,473, amounting to BD 405,596.
Investors showed a preference for the materials sector, which accounted for 32.34% of the total value of securities traded.
