Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,912.01 points, marking an increase of 28.15 points above the previous closing. This rise is attributed to gains in the communication service sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced growth, closing at 803.06 points, which is an increase of 28.84 points from its previous closing. The trading day saw 192 equity transactions with a total volume of 14,543,909, amounting to BD 2,894,843.
Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 88.28% of the total value of securities traded. This sector's dominance suggests a focused interest from investors, contributing significantly to the overall increase in the indices.
