Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,899.08 points, marking a decrease of 6.08 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the downturn in the Financials Sector, Materials Sector, and Real Estate Sector. Similarly, the Bahrain Islamic Index also closed lower at 902.63 points, showing a decline of 8.66 points from its previous close.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the trading session saw 83 equity transactions with a trading volume of 724,925, amounting to BD 299,408. Investors predominantly engaged in trading within the Financials Sector, which represented 65.63% of the total value of securities traded.
