Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,021.31 points, marking a decrease of 14.04 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the consumer discretionary sector, financial sector, and material sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has also witnessed a decline, closing at 790.76 points, a decrease of 2.90 points from its previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the results indicated that 95 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,024,779, amounting to BD 936,624. Investors primarily focused their trading activities in the material sector, which represented 77.98% of the total value of securities traded.
